Is the black and red caviar suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

There are no animal or animal derived products in our seaweed caviar. All of our products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

 

Are any fish harmed or killed in the production of this product?

No. Definitely not. The Vegetarian Caviar Club does not believe in killing fish and our product merely seeks to mimic the appearance of real caviar. This product is fish free.

 

Are the products made without gluten?

Vegetarian Caviar is not made with any gluten containing products. The products are made in a factory but the factory is not gluten free certified so we have not given the products a ‘gluten free’ stamp as cross contamination is possible.

 

Is it Kosher / Parve?

Yes, Vegetarian Caviar products are certified Kosher. Our wasabi caviar has not yet been certified, however it is suitable for those on a kosher diet.

 

Are your products alcohol free?

Our products do not contain alcohol.

 

Is it available to buy in bulk?

We provide 1 kg catering packs of Vegetarian Caviar for trade. Please email us to find out more on how we can help your catering company, restaurant, shop or deli.

 

Why would I stock your Vegetarian Caviar product in my shop?

Vegans and vegetarians are a growing population and they are always seeking new ways to liven up their food. Vegetarian Caviar does just that. There are few if any companies offering this product and by stocking this product you will attract more customers because of your unique product offering.

 

How do I store the product?

Please store Vegetarian Caviar in a cool, dry place. Once opened you will need to store the product in the fridge and consume within 30 days. Do not freeze the product.

 

How do I use the product?

Follow us on social media for vegan and vegetarian caviar recipe inspiration. This product is so versatile that you can use it to top your vegan and vegetarian sushi, food decoration, dress your canapés, sprinkle on salads and top your blinis.

 

Do I need to be vegetarian to use this product?

As the price of real caviar is ever increasing, our product is the perfect alternative to the real deal. It tastes very similar to and even looks like fish caviar. Use this as you would real caviar. It is suitable for all to enjoy.
